Terms of Service

Open2Meet helps people discover other people who are currently open to meeting someone new. You use it by messaging our Instagram account. By sending us a message and completing the sign-up questions, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, simply do not use the service.

1. Who can use Open2Meet

• You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your age during sign-up and close accounts that state a lower age.
• You need an Instagram account that you control. One person, one Open2Meet account.
• You must give truthful answers about yourself: your first name, age, gender and city are shown to the people we propose you to.

2. How the service works

• Discovery is opt-in and temporary: you are visible to others only while you have turned Open2Meet ON, and never for longer than 7 days at a time.
• We propose people to each other based on city, what each person is open to, interests, age and availability. We cannot promise that anyone will be proposed to you, or that a proposal leads to a match.
• Your Instagram username is revealed to another person only after you have both said MEET to each other. Until then they see only your first name, age, city, interests and what you are open to.
• What happens after a match is between you and the other person, directly on Instagram. Open2Meet does not take part in that conversation.

3. Your conduct

Treat the people you meet the way you want to be treated. In particular, you agree not to:

• pretend to be someone else, use someone else's photos or name, or state a false age;
• harass, threaten, insult or pressure anyone, including after they have said PASS or stopped replying;
• use the service to advertise, sell, recruit, send spam or ask for money;
• share another person's name, username or anything they told you with third parties without their consent;
• interfere with the service, for example by creating several accounts or automating messages.

4. Blocking, reporting and suspension

• You can block any person we have matched or proposed you with by sending BLOCK, and report them by sending REPORT. A blocked person is never proposed to you again and is not told about the block.
• We review reports and may warn, suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, at our discretion and without prior notice. A suspended account receives no further proposals and its messages are not answered.
• If you believe a suspension is a mistake, write to info@open2meet.com.

5. Your data

What we store, why, and for how long is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data at any time by sending DELETE, as explained on the data deletion page.

6. Instagram

Open2Meet runs on top of Instagram's messaging platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Instagram or Meta. Instagram's own terms and policies apply to your use of Instagram, including the conversations you have with people you meet through us.

7. Safety and responsibility

• We do not verify identities beyond what Instagram provides, and we cannot guarantee that anyone is who they say they are. Use your judgment: meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and report anything that feels wrong.
• The service is provided as it is, without any promise that it will be available at all times or free of errors. We may change, pause or discontinue it.
• To the extent permitted by law, Open2Meet is not liable for what happens between people who meet through the service, or for losses that result from using or being unable to use it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters for how you use the service, we will tell you in the Instagram conversation before it takes effect. Continuing to use Open2Meet after that means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Questions about them go to info@open2meet.com or to our Instagram account.
